In addition to the clip-on units belonging to the ship-owners it represents, Arkas Transportation also ensures that import and export reefers being shipped to and from Turkey are kept at the desired temperature through electrical devices slung under the chassis known as undersling. In addition, a 24 socket capacity reefer container terminal is at your service in the Izmir Sutculer Terminal in order to enable full containers to be connected to the mains while they are being stored.

General Purpose Container 20'  


Suitable for any general cargo. Containers may be equipped with liner bags suitable for bulk cargo, e.g. malt. Various lashing devices on the top and bottom longitudinal rails and corner posts.
General Purpose Container 40'   


Suitable for any general cargo. Containers may be equipped with liner bags suitable for bulk cargo, e.g. malt. Various lashing devices on the top and bottom longitudinal rails and corner posts.
High Cube General Purpose Container 40'HC  


Especially for light, voluminous cargo and overheight cargo up to max. 2.70 m. Numerous lashing devices on the top and bottom longitudinal rails and corner posts.
Hardtop Container 20'


It is especially constructed for heavy loads, high and excessively high loads and loading, e.g. by crane, through roof opening and door side. With roof removed and the doorheader swung out, it is much easier to load cargo using a crane via the door side. The hard top container provides many lashing devices to fasten your goods.
Open Top Container 40' 


Especially for overheight cargo, loading from top side, loading from door side. Door header can be swung out on all open top containers. If required we can provide disposable tarpaulins. Using one way tarpaulins requires the corner casting to be accessible.
Flat Container 20'    40'    40' High-Cube Version     


Especially for heavy loads and overwidth cargo. Strong bottom construction with fixed endwalls. Maximum payload can only be used if distributed over the total floor area of flatrack. Generally used for generator and vehicle loading.
Platform Container 20'    40'     


Especially for heavy loads and oversized cargo. Strong bottom construction.
Ventilated Containers 20'  


Especially for cargo which needs ventilation. Natural ventilation is provided by openings in top and bottom longitudinal rails. The Labyrinth construction of these ventilation openings ensures wheather proofness.
Refrigerated Container 20'    40'    40' High-Cube Version   


Especially for cargo which needs constant temperatures above or below freezing point. Controlled fresh-air is possible. The reefer unit is a compact-design compressor unit with aircooled condenser. It switches automatically from cooling to heating operation, if a change of the outside temperatures makes it necessary.
